Welcome to our web site! Science has been off to an exciting start. The 5th and 6th graders have been doing a great job in science so far this year.
I appreciate all that you parents do for your kids and the support you give the teachers at Milam!
Fifth graders have a field trip to the AG Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 24. We will eat lunch early, get on the busses at 11:45, go to the MPEC from about 12:00 - 2:00, then return to Milam for the rest of the day. It was fun last year!
Sixth graders are in the middle of an experiment to watch the chemical reactions of some powdered solids and liquids. They have tested Powder A and Powder C and will test Powder B and an unknown powder this week. After they finish testing the powders, they will come to some conclusions about all of the powders and chemical reactions.
