¡Bienvenidos otra vez a la clase de español! Welcome back to Spanish at Lake Ridge!
How exciting it is to teach the children at Lake Ridge. Their enthusiasm, creativity and intelligence energize me. I loving seeing eyes and faces light up as students learn to speak, understand, read and write (our four goals) Spanish. Teaching here has been one of the highlights of my career. Every day I am so excited to see how much the children can learn.
Our Spanish classes have already received great support from many parents by contributions of crayons, kleenex, hand santizer and disinfectant wipes. It takes a large quantity to provide for over 500 students. If you want to contribute, we still could use more of the above listed items as well as dry erase markers (in order to use our white boards), notecards (the larger the better to use to illustrate vocabulary), computer paper and construction paper. There are many games and activities that can be ordered from our Spanish catalogs, but they are very expensive.
A wonderful parent who did not leave a name contributed a whole case of notebook paper (along with great boxes of crayons), so we don't need more lined paper. ¡Gracias!
I could never thank the outstanding parents and the Lake Ridge PTA enough for all of your hard work. I look forward to working with all of you.
