School Theme: HOPE
Kindergarten is the time and place for children to come together, some for the first time, to share space, materials, and ideas. We will work on learning how to be patient, share, take turns, and cooperate with others. Conflicts between students are viewed as opportunities to learn and practice important problem solving skills.

During this month of May, the Kindergarteners are hard at work! In Math, we have moved from addition and subtraction and will begin time sequences and telling time to the hour. Towards the end of the month, we will take a closer look at measurement. In Language Arts, we continue to grow from creating our simple sentences to writing three sentences on a topic.
Mark your calendars! Thursday, May 31st will be the Kindergarten moving-on ceremony. It will be a simple ceremony that takes place on the Kindergarten steps. More details to come!
