We are currently learning about the military empires of the ancient Assyrians, Neo Babylonians. and the Persians. Each of the civilizations ruled over the area of Mesopotamia and were the first to create year round standing armies. The map quiz for the unit will be on Wednesday, February 15 and the Unit test will be following vacation on Friday, March 2.
