     I am thrilled to be teaching Español IA and IB this year at Hillview Middle School.  My experience in the Menlo Park City School District started years ago when I was a student at Oak Knoll and Hillview.  After graduating from Menlo-Atherton High School, I studied at Brigham Young University where I pursued my interests in History, Political Science and Spanish. 

     I love to travel and I have spent extensive time in Sweden, Mexico, England and Germany.  Several years ago I also spent part of my summer attending an intensive Spanish language course in Antigua, Guatemala and I have lead several trips to Spain with our students from Hillview.  

     I am looking forward to my tenth year of teaching here at Hillview and I love spending my days being able to share my love for the Spanish language and the people who speak it!
