Here are your directions for your brochure project:
First, go to the start button and click on it. Open up programs and go into Microsoft Word. Once there, hit the underscore box in the right hand corner of your screen. This minimizes the screen and just puts it aside for now (until we need it again).It is at the bottom of your screen.
Next, get on the Internet. (You are already there.)
Go to www.askjeeves.com or www.yahooligans.com . I put these links at the bottom of this page. All you need to do is click on them.
Once there type in a search for writing process, persuasive writing, narrative writing, informational or expository writing, anything to do with writing. Of course you need to do this one at a time. You are searching for cool PICTURES to use for your brochure. If you find one, right click on it and copy it. Close out the Internet screen again by clicking on the underscore box in the right hand corner. At the bottom of your screen open Microsoft word back up. Go to the menu bar at the top of the screen and go to edit. Once there go to paste and your picture should appear. Close it back out (underscore box) and open the Internet back up (at bottom of screen). You can copy about 5 or 6 pictures. Make sure they are small enough to fit in a column of your brochure. Once you get your pictures, you can print them out. You will cut them and paste them to your brochure in class. I will give you time to do this.
