WHO WAS I?
Have you any idea who those famous mathematicians are on the bulletin board in our classroom? (Of course not, I wouldn't either unless I read about their accomplishments)
Win a prize for finding out their identities. The first 5
students who correctly identifies the people in posters #5, #11 and #13 will win a prize. You must e-mail me with your answers and you should include the # of the poster with the person's name. Begin your search by reading each poster to obtain clues about that person. Click on the link below (MacTutor History of Mathematics) to read the biographies of famous mathematicians and learn about their accomplishments.It contains many unique links to sites about the history of mathematics.
