Update  April 13, 2008 Students (and Parents) Hope you enjoyed your Spring Break! We are now in our final 9 weeks for the 07-08 school year! Preparing for the SOL will be a vital part of this last 9 weeks.  Students are to complete 2 sets of 10 questions each week from the SOL Practice website listed on this page.  Each student received a handout with detailed instructions.  Students are allowed to do as many sets as they want and can hand in the 2 top scores.  However, each set must be from a different category.  A quiz grade will be given each week based on the results of the question sets. The JLab SOL Practice site is an excellent site for review and practice of SOL formatted questions. Also after each question is answered, students can click on a tab for an explanation of the correct answer for the question.  We will have 3 units to complete our year.  We will start with statistics and graphing, followed by probability and finish with patterns and function tables.  The statistics/graphing and probability units can be alot of fun because many hands on activities and "experiments" are used for learning. Our last 2 to 3 weeks prior to the SOL test will be spent on an intensive review of all concepts and skills learned this year. Hang in there!
