Students in grades 1 through 4 have two 40-minute music classes during the week. Through appropriate and meaningful musical activities, students learn to make music, move to music, recognize and appreciate diverse styles of music, and understand the relationships of music to history, culture, other arts, and disciplines outside the arts.
