Welcome to McClureScience in Room 509!
McClure Team Project / 3rd Quarter involves working in teams to develop a commercial or magazine advertisement which sells the concept of making blood, tissue or organ donations.
Teams of 3-4 students in each period will use the internet to first research the topic of blood, tissue or organ donation:
What is blood, tissue, organ donation?
Who can/cannot donate blood, tissue, organs?
Which blood type, tissue type or organs are the most needed?
Where do I go to donate/who do I contact?
Second, students will use the acquired information to develop posters, brochures, ads or commercials to sell the concept of becoming a donor. This work will mainly be done in class.
Third, students will present their finished products by the end of the quarter for a team grade.
