Welcome to the 2011-2012 MCDS cross country page. Practices are on Monday's through Thursday's from 4:00-5:30. During the regular season, most practices are at school, but occasionally we will meet at other local parks. We competed in the following meets this year:
9/1 - Cam-Rock Invite (4:30 boys, 5:00 girls, 5:30 middle)
9/8 - Poynette Invite (4:30 girls, 5:15 boys, 6:00 middle) at Shepherds Meadow Golf Course
9/13 - Dana Waddell Invite (4:30 boys, 5:15 girls; 6th grade TBA) at McCarthy Park, Marshall
9/15 - Waunakee Middle School (Grades 7 & 8 only) Meet (4:15) at Ripp Park, Waunakee
9/22 - Westfield Cross-Country Classic (4:30 Middle; 5:00 Girls; 5:30 Boys) at Westfield, WI
9/29 - Lake Mills Invite (4:30 Girls; 5:15 Boys; 6:00 MS (country mile)) at Hubbleton, WI. Please note this is a different location than last year.
10/6 - Lodi Middle School Meet (4:15 7th girls, 4:40 7th boys; 5:05 8th girls; 5:30 8th Boys).
10/13 - Trailways Conference Meet (4:30 Girls; 5:00 Boys; 5:30 Middle (2 miles)) at Rio High School. Competing teams include Deerfield, Dodgeland, Markesan, Rio/Fall River, Central Valley Christian, Green Lake, Oshkosh Lourdes, Pardeeville, Princeton, Valley Christian, and Williams Bay.
10/22 - D3 Sectional (Warmup at 9 am; HS Girls at 11 am; HS Boys at 11:45 am) at the Ryan Zimple Memorial Cross Country Course Boscobel, WI.
10/29 - Wisconsin State Meet (Ridges Golf Course, Wisconsin Rapids).
