Classroom Bonus Points
All students in Ms. McGill's classes are eligible to earn "Bonus
Points." You must keep up with your points...I will not replace lost/washed....points. |
| Badger Points: I will have a form with Badgers written
each day of the week for each of my classes. Minor classroom infractions
will cause the class to have a letter from Badgers taken away. Five (5)
points will be given to each student for each letter left. If the entire
word is left the points double (this would be 70 daily).
If they keep all letters for the entire week that total will double (70
x 5 =350, 350 x 2 =700). B's awarded by the teachers are honored
in the store for the following amounts: Black = 100, Orange
= 50, White = 25. All points/B's must
have the student's name and a teacher's name. If I do not recognize the
teacher's writing, I will verify the award before allowing the points to
be spent. |
| Random Points: Points may be earned for games, errands, other activities
as determined by Ms. McGill. |

for their level will receive a bonus 1000. |

1) Homework Pass (teacher discretion, not all homework assignments are allowable
2) Shortened Assignment (Do odds or evens, or teacher designated)
3) Get out of jail free! (no referral for a tardy) |
250 Points:
1) Restroom pass, it will still count as one of your passes in your student
planner.
2) Hall Pass to retrieve homework, it will still count as one of your passes
in your student planner. |
| Points will also "buy" items in Ms. McGill's store. A student
may only spend points with their name, no borrowing from a friend. You must
earn what you spend. If you leave the item in my room, it will become my
property again to resell. Purchasing is not a right to break school rules.
Put your purchase away and do your work. |
Group Purchasing Power |
1000 Points per student buys one class reward to be
determined by the teacher. It is left to the discretion of the teacher
to share what the reward will be |
| 25 Points per student buys 5 minutes of free time at
the end of the period. |
Notes: You must keep up with your
points...I will not replace lost/washed....points.
You can always attempt to barter my prices in the store/reward(s).
Sometimes I will budge and sometimes I will not, it never hurts to ask
for a discount.
Any points left over at the end of the year can be given
to Ms. McGill for safe keeping until next school year. Points from any
teacher remaining on staff will be honored. |
