Welcome to Lower School Physical & Health Education!
We have begun our trek through Health Education with first stopping to define what true Health really means and what practices in our lives can support our Health. From this starting point each grade will dive into a variety of Health topics including proper nutrition, personal fitness, and community health to name a few. Throughout the course of the school year I will be updating the information found on this page so you can keep track of what topics the children are covering in PE ( Grades K-2) and in Health ( Grades 3-5). In addition, at times children will be asked to reference different websites related to our lesson topics. I will keep an updated list of these websites at the bottom of this page. On these websites children can continue their health learning beyond the classroom by engaging in online reading and interactive activities. If you have any questions over the course of the school year please do not hesitate to ask.
