GREEK PROJECT
Mr. McSweeney
World History
Assigned: 1-31-02
Due: 2-19-02
Students are to produce a project relating to their studies of Ancient Greece. The project must be approved by Mr.McSweeeney. Projects that are dangerous or harmful to others are not acceptable. Questions about specific projects safety will be addressed in class.
Students are given great creative latitude on this assignment. Please select something that interests you. Posted in the class are 8-10 different project ideas to work from. It is a great starting point.
The student should construct the project. Guidance, support and even a little help from parents are welcomed and encouraged.
Students will be graded on quality and appearance of the work, creativity, handing the work in on time, a fact sheet that will accompany the project (with the proper heading), and a short oral presentation. The oral presentation will also be evaluated. I will be looking for good eye contact with the audience, strong clear voice, pace, body posture and knowledge of the topic.
This project does not require you to spend a lot of money!!!
