Dear Students and Parents,

We are winding down the school year. This week we will say hello to our new student body officers for next year and say goodbye to our dear 8th grade class. Throughout the week we will be wrapping up A WRINKLE IN TIME and reviewing our 6th grade social studies curriculum by do reading and writing exercises with our Ancient History Schoolhouse Map Projects. In religion/art class we are designing our own churches complete with floor plans, elevations, and designs for detailed altar pieces and sacramentals. Last week we had the pleasure of visiting the San Jose Museum of Art. It was both fun and instructive!

This is a bittersweet missive I am sending out to you parents and students. I will be retiring after eighteen years of teaching at St. Clare's, and a total twenty-six years in the diocese of San Jose. This brings to a close a long-standing relationship with the school as both a parent and as a teacher. I hope to see both parents and students whom I have grown to know and love here in chance meetings in our community. Best wishes to all, and may God bless all of you.

Sincerely,

Ms. Ranae Marengo
