I put three games on the website for the next section - Section 8. One is a battleship game, I'm sure you can figure out how to play it. We probably will have a test on this before the Feb. break, say the 16th or 17th.
Complete, finished lab write-ups due on Fri., Feb. 11th. You have plenty of time to ask questions before that if you need help.
Thurs., Feb. 10
I'M BACK!! Finally!! I talked a bit about what will be on Wednesday's test and we took this information down in our Science notebooks. I then went over what to include in the lab, writing on charts the information each class should include in the chart. I went over all parts of the lab, especially what to write in the obsevation and the two paragraphs of the conclusion.

I collected the completed labs and gave out a review packet for the Section 8 test. We completed the last sheet which is a chart and then began work on the first two pages.

We continued working on the packets and began working on a chart that compares the function of an organ to something else, such as the veins are part of the circulatory system and they would be like a roadway system because certain cars go one way and other cars go the other way - veins bring the blood back to the heart and the arteries take the blood away from the heart.

I showed you your test grade results and we worked on 2 specimen drawings (which will receive a single credit grade combined). We will make packets to go home after the vacation.
