Math: Homework: Monday, Homelink 5.9, Tuesday, Homelink 5.10, Wednesday, Homelink 5.11, Thursday, Homelink 5.12 , Friday, Homelink 5.13. Remember to practice counting by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's.

Reading: Practice this weeks vocabulary words (by, any, does, going, sing, don't, and went). Read every night.

AGENDA FOR WEEK OF January 30, 2012

Math: This week in Math we will be investigating frequency of sums from dice rolls, math facts using "double facts", reviewing fact strategies, figuring "what's my rule" with the "function machine", and applying rules with the function machine.

Reading: We will be reading the story "Kids Have Fun!". The skills we will be working on are three letter blends , contractions with not, comprehension(using compare and contrast and reviewing drawing conclusions). Please read with your child at home to build "stamina" (by practicing reading) so that they can become better readers.

Science/Social Studies: In Science we will continue our study of Properties.
