HOMEWORK FOR WEEK OF March 8, 2020

Math: This week we will have math homework one day...it will reflect topics below. Please practice math facts and counting by 1's, 5's, and 10's and back from 20 daily so it will become more automatic.

Reading: :Practice this Unit’s vocabulary words (say, says, see, between, and each). Please read 20 minutes/every weeknight. Make connections to the text....text to self, text to other stories, text to movies, text to things in the world.

AGENDA FOR WEEK OF March 8, 2020

Math:This week in Math we will review concepts learned in Module 3 and take our end of Module test.

Reading:We will complete Unit 9 working with closed syllable w/short vowel words, vowel team sounds (ai, ay, ee, ea, ey, oi, oy). Our sight words for Unit 9 are (say, says, see, between, and each). Please read with your child at home to build "stamina" (by practicing reading) so that they can become better readers. Make connections to the text....text to self, text to other stories, text to movies, and text to things in the world. Our comprehension skill focus will begin to focus on fact vs. opinion.

Science/Social Studies:: In Science we will be learning about Animal Adaptations.
