Math: Homework: Monday, Review graphs and temperature, Tuesday, Review Time and measuring, Wednesday, Review Money, Thursday, no homework, Friday, no homework . Remember to practice counting by 1's, 2's, 5's, and 10's and practice math facts.

Reading: Practice this weeks vocabulary words (been, before, gone, clues). Read every night.

AGENDA FOR WEEK OF May 21, 2012

Math: This week in Math we will be reviewing graphs, number stories, temperature, time, measuring, and money.

Reading: We will be reading the story "Dot and Jabber and the Big Bug Mystery". The skills we will be working on are open and closed syllables, inflectional endings -ed and -ing, comprehension (making predictions...fantasy/reality), and using "I" and "me". Please read with your child at home to build "stamina" (by practicing reading) so that they can become better readers. Make connections to the text....text to self, text to other stories, text to movies, text to things in the world....

Science/Social Studies: In Social Studies we will be talking about Memorial Day.
