*IMPORTANT REMINDERS TO ALL STUDENTS:* Upcoming AR Due Dates: 9th and 10th Honors AR books will be due on or before Friday, January 15th. All other classes AR books will be due on or before Friday, January 8th. 2nd Quarter Extra Credit AR books are due by Friday, January 15th; any student not enrolled in an Honors course may read up to two extra credit AR books for the marking period!!

Activities and Actions for the week of December 21st - 25th

Honors English I – Period 3

Monday: In-class activity: Discuss our Christmas memories and the value of friendship.

Tuesday: In-class activity: Redefine mood and sensory details according to page 50. Read "A Christmas Memory" on pages 51-60. Create character sketches for Buddy and his cousin/old friend with character traits and important actions for each character as well.

Wednesday: In-class activity: Work on your character sketches.

Thursday: Have a very happy and healthy holiday!

Friday: Merry Christmas!

Monday: In-class activity: Return and review quizzes. Play the Jeopardy review game. Action: Study for test.

Tuesday: In-class activity: Test covering all of our short story notes (multiple choice and fill-ins).

Thursday: Have a wonderful holiday break!
