What's going on in the media center:
Kindergarten is learning about different items that are related to a computer. We are discussing printers, monitors, mice, disks, and keyboards. Then we play a fun game of Simon Says. All of these items are drawn on a worksheet. I will say, "Simon says: circle the computer disk", etc. This helps them to remember the items.
First grade is creating their own books. The name is THE LIBRARY MONSTER. They are learning to create the cover, title page, and their own story.
Second grade is working with dictionaries. They are learning to find guide words and definitions.
Third & Fourth Grades are writing biographies about each other and presenting them to the class.
Fifth grade is studying technology vocabulary words and getting ready for a quiz on those words.
