Hello and Welcome to Science at the Cove
Congratulations to Sabrina Kim for her First Place finish in Science Fair. Also Congratulations to Pratiksha Patra and David Giles for their second place win at the Regional Science Bowl on Saturday.
We have now completed Unit 2, Matter, Atoms, and Periodic Table and will now begin our study of Waves (Unit 3). In this unit students will learn all about the wave properties, how waves interact with matter and how waves transfer energy. The information for this unit can be found in Unit 3 of the Science Fusion Text, Lessons 1-4.

Waves
Students should print the powerpoints as handouts and place them in their science folders. READ through the information as the quizzes below are based on the information in these powerpoints, notes, and textbook pages .

Students will be required to take quizzes online periodically to assess their understanding of concepts learned during the class. Currently there are 2 quizzes that the students need to complete: Waves and Waves Vocab Quizzes.
