3. Awards Ceremony 10:00 am Tuesday. After the awards ceremony leave your cap and gown on the hanging rack in 8A (you'll need your own hanger).

4.  Luncheon for those who RSVPed will follow in the Parish Life Center/gym. Students not attending the luncheon should be picked up from the school office. (all students will receive an 8th grade picture DVD so make sure you take one home)

5. Graduation Wednesday at 5:30.   Arrive at school at 5:00 to your homeroom. Reception hosted by the 7th grade parents for all students and families follows graduation (no rsvp necessary).  Please plan on stopping by this reception after the graduation for the last chance to take pictures with friends and family.

7th Pre-Algebra:  We are starting chapter 11 on Geometry this week. Our last Simple Solutions quiz on lessons 101-104 will be Friday.

Retakes for the chapter 9  test may be taken Thursday at lunch. Complete the test corrections paper and have it signed by Thursday.

Anyone needing to re-take the common fractions-decimals-percents chart quiz may do so on Friday after the Simple Solutions quiz.

If parents are interested in ordering Simple Solutions Summer workbooks for your 7th grader, I recommend the 7th grade Pre-Algebra summer workbook.

Parents-We are almost out of Clorox wipes, tissues and paper towels.  Any donations would be appreciated.

Please note a change to my grading policy.  Re-takes will only be allowed at my discretion.  Late work will no longer be accepted.  Students with an excused absence will be allowed one day for every day they were absent.  It is the student's responsibility to find out what they are missing and to make arrangements to make up any missed tests or quizzes.
