Welcome to Music at Watauga
All students at Watauga are given many opportunities through music to create, express and enjoy. Pre-K through fifth grade students have music weekly. There is also a volunteer fourth and fifth grade choir which performs for the community at Christmas and in the spring.
We encourage all children to sing, dance, play instruments, listen to a variety of music, discuss world music, improvise and enjoy the journey of music.
Upcoming choir events include a performance at the Veteran's Ceremony in Abingdon on Saturday November 11th 2006 at 10:00. The public is encouraged and welcomed to attend.
Also, all Watauga 4th and 5th grade classes and ESL students will be attending a Johnson City Symphony Christmas concert in Johnson City TN on Wednesday December 13th.
