Welcome to Multiple Media Support Unabridged Literature!

Today I have given you an idea of some of the activities we use to help ESL students get meaning from the unabridged novels that they read. Now you have a chance to explore some other teacher made materials on your own.

The "Quia Activities" listed below all deal with beginning-level English grammar. You may find the variety of activities, rather than the content, of interest.

The "Useful Links" listed below will take you directly to:

1. PCCC ESL homepage. Check out the student projects and Teacher Resources. See me for the secret code to enter.

2. PCCC Specific Links for Students. Check out both ENB009 (Sarah Plain and Tall) and ENB010 (Freak the Mighty).

3. Freak the Mighty class page. This is used as a message board for my students and it has some interesting activities and links at the bottom of the page.

4. Quia Homepage. This service currently cost $49 per year for all your class pages and games. You may sign up for a 30-day free trial and then start making your own games and class pages.

5. Nicenet homepage. This is a free service that will let you post to a web page and communicate with your students.

6. PCCC homepage. Check out the Library resources. Unfortunately some of these are available only in the College.

Thank you for participating in this workshop. Please share with me your suggestions for making this a better workshop AND share your Media finds with me too. I'm still learning.
