Elk Hall Reminders... Week of February 6-10, 2012
NO SCHOOL... Monday, February 20.
Weekly Progress Reports will go home EVERY Tuesday! Please sign and return the following day.
Please make sure your child is bringing you his/her timetracker each night. It is their responsibility to have it signed everyday. This allows communication to occur from home to school and vice-versa.
A quiz will be given every Friday over the essential questions (state standards) taught for the week. Math spirals should be coming home every night. This is where students complete attach notes (flipbooks, graphic organizers; etc.) and store homework and graded quizzes/tests.
Every student has been assigned a math textbook to keep at home. Put it in a safe place and use it as a reference when needed.

Learn About Mrs. Moore:
Hello! My name is Jennifer Moore, and I teach 6th grade math. You can find me in room 425 on Elk Hall. This will be my 8th year at Indian Trail. I love this place and know you will too!
I want to take a moment to tell you a little about myself. I attended ETSU for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. My bachelor's degree is in Elementary Education K-8, and my master's degree is in Special Education. I just finished my course work from LMU to obtain an Ed.S. in Leadership & Administration.
When I am away from school, I enjoy cooking, reading, shopping for antiques, playing volleyball, and spending time with my family on our farm. I have been married six years to my husband, Matthew, and I have 3 children (a cat, Molly and two beagles, Millie and Mabel). We all enjoy the great outdoors!
I look forward to a new school year and learning about each of you. I know we will have a wonderful year together!
