Dear Parents,
Our grade will be testing in April, right after Spring Break. In order to prepare for this, we are doing a series of "pre-tests" on concepts. We are doing our regular subjects too. It's very important that you go over your child's work to ensure that concepts are understood.
Also, I do not know how much longer that I will be able to update this page. Our quia-page subscription has gone up. I know the district is trying to work something out on this.
Here's an update on subjects being covered.
Spelling: Unit 21
Reading: Bud, Not Buddy Chpts 8 and 9
plus AR and pretests
Math: Elapsed time, calander, measurements
Social Studies: Finishing up on NE - starting North Central.
Science- Simple machines and Solar System
Writing: The writing process, compare and contrast.
