May Activity Calendar
First Grade
The first graders are completing their Winter WordArt/Microsoft Word/Picture projects. I had hoped to put the students' projects on this site, however, there was not enough room left in the web site's storage area for this.


Second Grade
The second graders completed their Easter poems. Next month, they will begin work on their own poems.These will be illustrated using ClipArt Gallery and pictures that I have downloaded from the internet.


Third Grade
The students are presently placing birthdates of their parents, grandparents, and great grandparents on their genealogy charts. They will be incorporating their pictures into their chart. They will be taking each others' picture using a digital camera. They will print their pictures using a photo printer. Finally, they will be adding their pictures and birthdates to their chart.We will continue this project by comparing what happened in Michigan during these years in preparation for their studying Michigan in fourth grade.

Fourth Grade
Fourth Graders are finishing their project called Michigan, My Michigan. They are looking up information on their particular city. Using PowerPoint and the internet, they are incorporating pictures to convince me to visit their city.


Fifth Grade
Fifth Graders are working on a project for their Fifth Grade Graduation. They are putting their individual grade level pictures on slides in PowerPoint with each grade level beside it. They must include an initial slide stating what they will miss at Kimball or Sparlingville and another at the end indicating what they are looking forward to at the middle school.
