Computer Skills I, II, & III

Hello out there in cyber space.
I am Mr. Elam and have taught public school for twelve years. In the past I have also been a network administrator and director of personnel for a hospital.
Computer skills I covers keyboarding skills and some internet skills. (6th grade) The goal here is 35 words per minute minimum.
Computer skills II covers some keyboarding skills, introductions to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Dos 6.2, with some PC repair/trouble shooting.
Computer skills III covers some keyboard skills, much more indepth experience in Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access, with some PC repair/trouble shooting. If time permits we will also do some web page designing.
*NOTE: Students who do not know how to type prior to Computer Skills II and III will experience frustration and difficulties.
I will be sending internet permission slips and a syllabus home during the first week of school.
I will be sending progress reports home each Friday/last day of the school week without fail for you to check your child's progress. The progress report is completely self explanatory.
