I Can see the light at the end of the tunnel!  School is almost over.
It's crunch time!  Make sure you stay focused and work hard for the remainder of the year.
We have just wrapped up our Plate Tectonic unit and are about to begin Rocks and Minerals.  We have CAT 6 testing next week so make sure to get lot of rest and try your best during testing week.
The rocks and mineral unit is a great unit which explores the three main groups of rocks found on our planet.  Sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic.  By the end of this unit you will be able to identify each type and tell how it was formed.  You will become rock-hounds, experts in the field of geology.  I look forward to teaching you about these pieces of our Earth's past.
Good luck during CAT 6!

Thanks,
Mr. G.

Homework:
Look on your homework calendars for specific details and dates the assignments are due.  Be sure you get your rock collections completed and turned in on time.

Parents, the homework calendar is something you should be checking on a regular basis.  Make sure your student is on track and is getting their work turned in on time.  You will know they are geting credit for their work, because I sign their calendars when each assignment has been completed properly and is complete.
