WEEK OF JANUARY 3, 2005 Dear Students and Parents, The students have all been introduced to synonyms (words that have similar meanings) and antonyms (words that are mean the opposite). They will be making drafts (this week) and final copies (next week) of their books for homework. In math they are reviewing subtraction of large numbers with renaming, exchanging, and/or regrouping (same concept, different names) and becoming multiplication masters!
