WEEK OF DECEMBER 15, 2003 Dear Students and Parents, During this very busy time in all our lives, the students are coming to school tired, but ready to work. They will not be having language arts homework. During math we are continuing computational skills. Subtraction with zeros will be difficult. Your children have started to take a practice ELA, with guidance. They will be completing Book 4 in Wilson reading. After vacation they will be starting Book 5. They read Postcards from the United States last week. They also completed Thing Alongs Level A and will be starting Level B. They also have been introduced to homonyms. They will continue that concept after vacation. This week I will lighten the homework assignments so they can have more 'family time.' Have a wonderful holiday and a restful vacation.
