WEEK OF MAY 5, 2003
Dear Students and Parents,
We will be starting a unit on poetry this week. Various types of poetry will be explored. The children will read poetry, rewrite examples of poetry, and write their own poems. I think we will see a lot of creativeness.
In reading we are continuing to learn about spelling options. This week they will be continuing to learn about the soft sounds of the letters g and c.
In math we will be starting a unit on geometry. Everyone will love all the hands-on activities this unit provides.
