WEEK OF JUNE 16, 2003
Dear Students and Parents,
The last full week of school!
Charlotte's Web is the story we are ending the school year with. Mrs. Bartsch is coming in to do another art project with the students this week based on the book. We had such a good time with The Chalkbox Kid's gardens, we can't wait to find out what we'll be doing with Charlotte's Web!
In math we are busy with geometry and having a quick look at fractions. They have done a great job of drawing throughout this unit. The hands-on activities are fun. The paper and pencil tasks are more difficult.
In reading we will be finishing Book 7 in Wilson. Please look for a packet of stories and sight words to come home. They should be read weekly!
This week we will only be having spelling for homework. Enjoy your summer.
