An Author study
The task:
You will create your own Author’s guide that
includes summaries about the books you have
read by the author, a mini-research paper
all included in a hyperstudio project.
Process:
Step 1 Read Three or more books by an author of your choosing.
Write a brief summary (2-3 paragraphs) about each book.
Step 2 Research your author’s life.
Write a mini-research paper (4-5 paragraphs).
Be sure to include information about their:
•Name
•Place and date of birth
•Family
•List of books the author has written
•Awards they have recieved
•Why they chose to become authors
•Any other occupations/hobbies they may have
•Why you chose to study this author
•Any other important and/or interesting
information about your author.
Step 3
Now create your hyperstudio presentation.
It will include your summaries, your
mini-research paper and sights and sounds
that represent your author and/or the books
they have written.
