Welcome to the Genre Games. Each class we will explore a different genre by using the databases and search engines--World Book, Gale, and NetTrekker--to play a game on Quia. We will also learn how to use NoodleTools to take notes and to cite our sources so we can be efficient and ethical users of information. These games are available to you outside of the school building so I hope you take advantage of them and play them often. Learning about the genres of literature helps us to broaden our reading selection and research shows that the more widely one reads, the better one is at writing, other subjects in school and making conversation.
