Dear Parents:
I want to thank each one of you for helping to make this week for us all. We acomplished a great deal and I have seen progress in their listening and "following the directions" skills.
The first homework assignment came home today(Friday,Aug.31). I am hoping that this will be a fun parent child activity. Please allow the children to make as many "final decisions" as possible about the making of the book. The pages will be laminated and each child will have an opportunity to share their book with the class. They will be kept at school in your child's individual "book cubbie". They will be making many books this year and we will keep them at school to take notice of their improvement. This assignment is not due until Friday, Sept.7th. These books will fit nicely into our Bible/Social Studies unit on God being the creator of all things and that as Psalm 139 tells them, they are wonderfully made.
