SOCIAL STUDIES:
We are studying Russia and the area surrounding Russia.
LANGUAGE ARTS:
We are continuing to work on spelling. To get a list of the spelling words, play the hangman game at the link below. These words will be updated each Friday with the words for the upcoming week. This is a good way to be prepared for the pretest on Monday. Also, if the pretest is aced (100%) the post-test can be skipped! Decoding skills are also being taught in cooperation with the spelling lessons.
SCIENCE:
We are learning about succession and reforestation. We are also learning how to document information using pie graphs.
MATH:
We are working with fractions. These include improper fractions and mixed numbers.
