For the week of May 14-May 18, 2001:
Wordly Wise is due next Thursday. We will have a Spelling and Vocabulary test over the words on Friday.
The Civil War Simulation is over! We have changed history because the South won in both classes. This was mainly due to the fact that both adjutants (record keepers) were spies from the Confederacy. They sabotaged the Union on many occasions. I must say these spies were excellent actors and fooled the best of them! The most coincidental part of the whole simulation was the spies were randomly chosen by their generals to be the adjutants! Imagine that.....both classes the adjutants were SPIES!
I had a great time during this simulation. I hope everyone stops by on Friday, May 18th, for "Our Town" exhibits and you can get a glimpse of the fantastic projects that we did during our study of the Civil War!
