Hello! Welcome to my middle school website! I originally created it for my seventh grade students at Norwell Middle School and then updated it in 2008-2009 for my students at Cohasset Middle School. While I will be teaching at Norwell High School for the 2009-2010 school year, I have decided to keep this page active in case any middle school teachers or students are interested in my vocabulary activities and links.

NOTES ABOUT THE GAMES AND ACTIVITIES

VFA - Vocabulary for Achievement
In Cohasset, VFA Intro Course is used in grade six and VFA First Course is used in grade seven.

Many links and vocab lists below go along with short stories from the text Elements of Literature, First Course (Holt, Rinehart, and Winston).

Other stories listed below may be viewed in play form as performed by the Chamber Theatre, whose actors travel around the country putting on shows for students. Typically the shows include five short plays based on five famous short stories.
