Mrs. Weinberg’s Third Grade Update
They will never care about how much you know until they know how much you care
Dear Parents and Students:
What an amazing year we all have had together!
Rose Kennedy is known for a saying Life isn't a matter of milestones, but of moments. Now that we are at the end of third grade together it is really not about the ending but how we got here. The children are very prepared for fourth grade and for life beyond our four walls together. It is not always about the grade they got but how they gave it their best, did they really try? Those who don't have to try hard, went beyond to learn more. Those who struggle to get it together at times, learned to be patient with themselves and just try it again. It is also about trying - one misses out on so much if they stop at believing they can't do it.
I thank you all for this most wonderful year. The children were ready every day to give it their all. They worked very hard to earn every itty bitty grade. Thanks to all of the parents who supported the efforts inside the class and out. Teaching your children has been a honor and a very special opportunity for me.
Have a wonderful summer and be sure to bring back postcards from your journeys. I'll miss you.
