Welcome to Mrs.Yarber's Kindergarten Class

Welcome to our Kindergarten website. We are off to an exciting year filled with reading, writing, math, history, and science. Our website will keep you up to date on all the fun things we are working on this year. You will be able to play games with your child in the activities section. In language arts we are working on identifying letters and their sounds, rhyming, writing their name, and tracking words as they read familiar text. Please continue to work on these at home through out the year. ______________________________________________________________________ Math

In math we have worked on sorting, and positions. Continue to work with them on identifing and counting objects to 30. We do calendar everyday. Continue to work on months of the year, days of the week, seasons, the date, and the weather. ______________________________________________________________________ Social Studies and Science

In social studies and science we have worked on community helpers, five senses, rules, President, the pledge of the allegiance, election, Betsy Ross, Fall, and Thanksgiving.
