Crossing Park School
Welcome to our offical class page!
I am so glad that you could visit our class website. This page has been created just for our class. If you have a computer at home you can visit our website with your parents.
With the new year starting we will be learning many new things in our classroom. We are finishing our science unit of liquids and will be starting to learn about boats and buoyancy. I know how much you all enjoy science and will be looking forward to doing some more science experiments. We are still working on our basic facts to 20. I hope that you are all practicing each night. We will be starting adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers soon.

There are some important dates coming up that you should remember:

Friday, January 25 Early Dismissal
Monday, January 28, Professional Day (NO SCHOOL)
Wednesday, February 13, Valentine's Day Class Celebration(Even though it is one day early we are going to exchange Valentine's cards)
Thursday, February 14, Valentine's Day Teachers' Convention (NO SCHOOL)
Friday, February 15, Teachers' Convention (NO SCHOOL)
Monday, February 18, Teachers' Convention (NO SCHOOL)

This website has been designed for you. I hope that you will be able to access this site with your family. At the bottom of this page there are many things that you can click on to visit the World Wide Web. As the year moves along there will be many changes to this site, including new games and things to visit.

You will know when this page has been updated because I will change the colours of the background and the print.
That way you will know if there is new information to read about.

To access the quizzes simply click on the funbrain.com site below. Click on the top right button that says QUIZ LAB. Then a page called STUDENT LOGIN will appear on your screen. Here you will type in your name and a secret code. Our secret word work and play. Then you will have access to the quizzes and the marks will be emailed to my box so I will know what you have done.

Please always ask your parents for permission before clicking on new sites. You may want to visit the sites with your parents.

Signed your teacher,
Ms. Huitema
