Greetings!
It seems as though time is passing faster and faster with the arrival of each month. I can hardly believe that we have already celebrated our 100th day. I am constantly reminded that each day is precious and a gift from God.
On February 29, 2012, we will be performing at morning assembly in honor of Black History Month. Please join us if it is all possible...I assure you that you will enjoy the show!
Please make sure your students wear a sweatshirt or jacket to school every day. Your child will not be allowed to take part in morning recess without a sweater or jacket. If your child does not own official St. Clare outerwear they may wear another sweater or jacket to school, however they will not be allowed to wear it in the classroom (per Uniform Code section in 2011-12 Parent/Student Handbook). I appreciate your support with this issue as we continue to fight through the flu season.
As usual, we can always use lined paper, index cards, tissues. If you are able to donate any of these items please feel free to do so.
Also, please remind your child of the importance of frequent hand washing and covering their mouths when sneezing and/or coughing.
