Week of May 12
Mon. & Tues.
1. Get 4th Quarter science interim signed.
2. Write 10 Q & A or flashcards from the front of the 1st sheet from the Ecology Guided Notes.
3. Try to finish Power point and begin writing and rehearsing you oral presentation.
(SEE PACKET FOR DETAIL ON PPT AND ORAL PRESENTATION )
YOU ARE NOT TO JUST READ FROM THE POWERPOINT SLIDE. HOW ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE YOUR ORAL PRESENTATION INTERESTING AND NOT BORING?????

1. Notes will be graded for quantity on Weds./Thurs. (See Friday)
2. Gather any missing info. I will find another website for cost. Look on my student folder for some cost websites!
3. OBSERVATIONS OF SPRING...SJ ENTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Finish taking your own notes!
Wed. & Thurs.
1. Group notes will be collected and graded on Friday!
Friday
1. Parent discussion sheet. (in your research packet).
2. Power point and group presentation...present on Weds. & Thurs. May 21 & 22.
3. Get signed Binder quiz and Earth's Nat. resources quiz signed!
Week of April 28
Mon. & Tues.
1. You must have 1 book source and one website (minimum by next class)
2. Take notes using Notetaking tips from any source you have.
3. Take notes from encarta!
Weds. & Thurs.
1. All bibliographic information must be filled in for all sources, including the extra credit source(which would be a 4th source).
2. What information are you missing? Look for sources and take notes on the missing information.
3. Friday is last day to get points for parent signature AND SOURCES.
4. ORGANIZE BINDER WITH NEW CHECKSHEET.
Friday
1. Note will be assess for quality (0 - 5 points).
2. Quantity... 1/2 page = 4 points. If not much info on a line, need more than 1/2 page for 4 points. POSSIBLE POINTS:(0 - 20 points)
2. SJ entry Obs of Spring due Weds.
3. Quiz MONDAY on vocab: Earth's Natural resources worksheet. Know the answers to ALL of the questions.
4.monday is the red line due date. Homework clipboard closes!!!! Monday!
Week of April 22 HAPPY EARTH DAY!!!!! Do something to make a difference!
Tues. and Weds.
1. Red line due date is Thurs.
2. Follow directions for the Earth's Natural Resources ws.
3. Extra credit any time you bring in a current newspapaer article on one of the types of energy we are researching.
4. If you are doing a power point OR poster for the make a difference, show Ms. Q your 1st draft of your power point or poster, BY FRIDAY, OR IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR EXTRA CREDIT!!!. (I will be out on Thurs.)
Thurs. & Friday
1. READ then take the equivalent of a 1/2 page of notes (NO MORE) on your topic. (use the appropriate note sheet ex. book for notes from a book!).
2. Finish your "Make a Difference Project". Project/Poster/ power point is due on MON/TUES.
IF YOU ARE DOING A POWER POINT...PRINT A COPY OF THE POWER POINT. USE THE PRINTING SELECTION CALLED...HANDOUTS!!!!!

2. WORK ON MAKE A DIFFERENCE PROJECT!
3. Get Marathon entry filled out and hand it it (with check if you are ordering the optional
t-shirt!)

1. Work on MAKE A DIFFERENCE project.
2.GET OUTSIDE AND PLAY!!!!
