Welcome to Advanced Placement Language and Composition. The goal of this webpage is to be helpful because it repeats information given in class and serves as a reminder of what is going on in class if a student is absent; however, please remember that the weekly schedule posted on this page is tentative and subject to change. This webpage is cannot solely be relied upon as a way to be responsible for class work.

Attention Parents & Students:

Collegeboard states that students should enroll in Advanced Placement courses only if they "are willing to accept the challenge of a rigorous academic curriculum"; therefore, students enrolling in this course should be prepared to put extra effort into their work and studies. Because AP English is designed as a college level course, students enrolled are allowed several excellent opportunities. Not only will this course prepare students for the rigors of college, but they also may receive college credit by successfully completing the course.
*For nine week grading period objectives please refer to the course syllabus.
