     Welcome Spring!  We are busy earning money to spend in our classroom store. The
students are learning about economics by making money choices like saving, spending, and
earning interest.   We will be growing Wisconsin fast plants and watching caterpillars grow
into beautiful Painted Lady butterfies. The students are proud of their newly learned cursive
handwriting skills. We will continue practicing and learn all the letters before the end of
second grade. In math, we are learning two digit addition and subtraction with regrouping.
Please help your child practice their math facts. Thanks for sending your wonderful children
