Students can expect to have fun! They will also be working hard (because anything we do to improve ourselves takes hard work), to become the best possible communicators they can.
Activities for many students include weekly assignments designed to develop meaningful vocabulary, the foundation for all academic learning, and comprehension and verbal expression. Activities can be done by students as well as their families, because communication is something everyone is involved in. All work and assignments are coordinated with activities and games on this website, which can be done at school and at home.
A common process used in therapy for comprehension and verbal expression is SAY IT - SPELL IT - DEFINE IT - DRAW IT - USE IT. Following this process in our sessions and weekly assignments will really help a student develop their communication skill.
