ARE YOU A VISUAL PERSON?

If you are a visual person, there are many ways for you to study!  How about a beautiful, colored chart?  You can post it on your wall.  Use colored pens when you take notes.  Hang up signs everywhere in your house! Have fun!

MUSEUMS

Have fun and learn at museums!  There are many ways that you can make your museum experience both a great visit and a fantastic learning opportunity!

1)  Look up relevant vocabulary before you go!  Bring a friend and have fun talking about the beautiful art that you see!

2)  Bring a pencil and paper to the museum!  (Don't bring a pen.  Some museums don't permit pens.)  Write about a work of art that you like.  BUild your writing skills in this way.  For example, if you are learning the simple past now, use it a lot in your writing.  If you are learning about comparisons, write a comparison and contrast composition about two works of art.  Look up new vocabulary in your dictionary.  You can also speak with your teacher about this. 

Museums in Massachusetts are usually closed on Mondays.  If you're not sure, call.
