Service Learning Dates
Thursday, March 19 Thursday, April 23
MATH: We are continuing to work on multiplication facts. We are about to finish Unit 5 in our math journal and then will explore the world of geometry: lines, line segments, and rays!
READING: We have finished our reading of The Hundred Dresses. This week (March 16) we will do a book report at school and at home. The students will be taking an Accelerated Reader test this week as well. We will switch back to our basal reader by the end of the week and read the "Incredible Stories" unit which is fun and entertaining. That theme will be the perfect way to then move into the book Charlotte's Web!
SOCIAL STUDIES: The children are learning so much about the Southeast and their particular state. As with the study of the Northeast
