1. Between WWI and WWII, what problems existed in Germany?
  2.  How did these problems give rise to Hitler and the Nazis, and the subsequent persecution of Jews and political opponents?
    3.  What is it about Hitler that makes him so powerful?
    4.  Why are the Jews used as scapegoats by Hitler and the Nazis?
    5. Who are the Allies? Who are the Axis  Powers? Who are the leaders of each country?
  6. What rights are taken away from the Jews by the Nazis? How are they persecuted and restricted, and what are the kinds of things done to them?
  7. Who is excluded from Hitler's "Master Race",  and what are his plans for them?
    8.  How would you feel if you were not to be a part of this "Master Race"? Why do you think you would feel this way?
    9. Who was Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and why is he important?  Who was Father Jaques de Jésus, and why is he important?
  10. Who are some (2-3)  other Catholics of the Holocaust, and what did teach of them  do that makes us characterize them as "heroes"?
