Study the map of Japan. Be able to name the islands of Hokkaido, Honshuu, Shikoku, Kyuushuu, Okinawa and the Sea of Japan (Nihon kai) and the Pacific Ocean (Taiheiyou). The test will be 10/30 (p.5) and 11/2 (p.2).

Complete pg. 51-58 in hiragana pkt. for ra/wa lines. Practice w/cards. Practice identifying the islands of Japan, surrounding bodies of water, and neighboring countries.

Create a visual representation of your yokai. Write the first three sentences about your yokai. You will do the last two in class.

Complete the Hiragana Worksheet packet, section 2. If you are a freshman in 2nd period, you will not get this packet until Tuesday because of Freshman Skills Day.
